Andy and Kate have the pleasure of owning and running this fabulous grocer/deli/off license in Brechin. It’s an old style, quirky shop with a wide range of items.
Groceries
A large range of groceries and unusual products – ranging from the ‘day-to-day’ to ‘hard to find’ items.
Smoked and unsmoked bacon is freshly cut on a vintage Berkel slicer. Moreish ham, pates, black pudding, local eggs, and a range of over 40 cheeses are always in stock. Coffee beans are ground on the premises in a vintage coffee grinder (often by Andy who is also a great vintage!)
The Off License
With a jaw dropping range of single malt whisky in stock (over 260 at the last count) Collectors’ bottles too. It’s a whisky lovers paradise!
Our small batch gin collection is now approximately 250 bottles – a gin lovers heaven!
If you are not a whisky or gin lover there is a stock of unusual spirits as well as a small stock of wines & local beers.
Gifts, Hampers and Gift Vouchers
You won’t go out empty handed when you see our extensive range of food and drink related giftware!
A Gourmet Grocer bespoke hamper is an ideal present. Each hamper, gift bag and cheeseboard is built to meet your requirements and budget. If that doesn’t hit the mark – a Gift Voucher is ideal so the recipient can make their own choices.
Whisky and Gin Tastings
Dates are advertised in the shop and on Facebook regularly throughout the year. If you are interested contact us for more information. Groups are welcome – Minimum of 8 required.
A local delivery service is offered for a small charge. A gift-wrapping service is available. Postage to UK only.
